PV Drilling expects “a new spring”

Over the past 20 years, Petrovietnam Drilling and Well Service Corporation (PV Drilling) has always been consistent with the vision “To be an internationally reputable and reliable drilling contractor and drilling-related services provider in the oil and gas industry”. 2023 is expected to be “a new spring” to PV Drilling. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Cuong, President & CEO of PV Drilling has shared his point of view with Petrotimes on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2023.

PV DRILLING II reached the milestone of 13 consecutive years of safe operation (15/9/2009- 15/9/2022)

PV DRILLING II, officially put into operation on September 15th, 2009 is PV Drilling’s 2nd wholly-owned jack-up rig. As of midnight on 14th September, 2022, PV DRILLING II reached the milestone of 13 consecutive years of safe operation without any Lost Time Incident (LTI-free), recognized by the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC).

In responding to the National Action Month of Occupational Safety and Hygiene 2022, in two days of 25th – 26th May 2022, the HSEQ Division – PV Drilling Corporation in collaboration with the Labor Union Committee carried out a field inspection of Occupational Health, Safety, Security, Environment, industrial hygiene and fire protection at bases as well as production facilities of 13 PV Drilling’s Subsidiaries and Joint Ventures
