On 6 March 2023, Brunei Shell Petroleum Company (BSP) team visited and worked at Petrovietnam Drilling and Well Service Corporation (PV Drilling) Head Office in accordance with the conference for PV DRILLING V Performance Review after one year of service provision. Leading the team is Mr. Wil Hinoul, General Manager - Wells.
Attending the meeting, on behalf of BSP, there is Mr. Wim Hinoul, General Manager – Wells, and leaders of divisions/departments participating in the contract for the provision of the TAD - PV DRILLING V of PV Drilling.
On behalf of PV Drilling, there is the attendance of Mr. Nguyen The Son - Vice President; Mr. Dinh Quang Nhut - Vice President of PV Drilling cum Director of PVD Drilling Division; managers of divisions, subsidiaries participating in the contract for the provision of the TAD - PV DRILLING V for BSP’s drilling campaign in accordance with the contract signed in September 2019.

At the conference, BSP and PV Drilling discussed and reviewed the PV DRILLING V Operation Performance after one year PV Drilling officially conducted the provision of the TAD rig for BSP’s drilling program in Brunei; in the meanwhile, both teams analyzed all operations and management activities based on criteria of Health – Safety – Environment – Quality in order to enhance service quality for the coming years.
In the first year of operation, PV DRILLING V completed the two oil and gas wells ahead of schedule for BSP but still ensured all safety and quality criteria. As a result, at end of 2022, PV DRILLING V was highly appreciated and classified by BSP as the runner-up in terms of efficiency among rigs of the same kind that were currently providing services for Shell Global. Besides, PV DRILLING V continued to achieve Zero LTI (without lost time incidence), certified by the International Association of Oil and Gas Drilling Contractors (IADC) in December 2022. These remarkable achievements are proudly contributing to affirming PV Drilling’s competency in service provision while participating in international drilling markets.
On this occasion, PV Drilling introduced to BSP other well-technical services that PV Drilling is currently providing to clients. On 7 March 2023, BSP’s team visited the facilities of PV Drilling’s subsidiaries in Vung Tau including PVD Drilling Division, PVD Offshore, PVD Logging, PVD Invest, PVD Tech, and PVD Training.

With the competency in service provision clearly certified by the achievements gained after one year of service provision in Brunei, PV Drilling plans to provide other drilling-related services along with rig provision in Brunei for the coming years.
