PV DRILLING I rig receiving a note of congratulations from Petronas for the safe and excellent drilling performance
On 1st
June 2020, after 6 months performing the drilling contract for Petronas,
PV DRILLING I rig successfully completed the Samarang Phase 3 Drilling
Campaign with the total of 4 wells at the SMDB-B WHP without any HSE
related incidents. On this special occasion, Petronas sent a note of
congratulations to all crews of PV DRILLING I rig and appreciated their
valuable contribution to achieving the Project’s objectives and safe
operation as well.
PV DRILLING I Jack-up rig in Malaysia
PV DRILLING I was the first Jack-up drilling rig of PV Drilling
Corporation and also the first one of the Jack-up fleets which operated
abroad. This achievement opened a new direction in PV Drilling's
business strategy. On the 10th March 2020, PV DRILLING I
excellently achieved 13 consecutive years of safe operation without any
lost time incidents (Zero LTI), recognized and awarded by International
Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC). This is a world-class record
for safe operation in the oil and gas drilling industry.
