PV Drilling honored with the ‘Zero Possible’ award by Petronas, affirming its leading position in Malaysia

On November 17, 2025, Petrovietnam Drilling and Well Service Corporation attended the 2025 Senior Service Partner Leadership Meeting Conference with the theme "Joining hands for a safer future: Driving systemic change with purpose", organized by Petronas. On this occasion, PV Drilling was honored to receive the ‘Zero Possible’ award from Petronas. 

The Conference was attended by Petronas’ senior leaders, along with General Directors/Executive Directors from leading Southeast Asian oil and gas service companies. President and CEO Nguyen Xuan Cuong attended the event on behalf of PV Drilling. 
This was an important forum for Petronas and service partners to comprehensively evaluate the cooperation, and recognize the contributions to the shared success in 2025. The parties focused on promoting goals for absolute safety and improving the efficiency of project execution. Through the conference, the leaders worked together to seek solutions for capacity improvement, while also sharing experiences and trends in risk management during the implementation of oil and gas projects.

At the conference, in recognition of PV Drilling’s outstanding contributions to the overall success of PCSB (Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd) in 2025, Petronas presented PV Drilling with the ‘Mission: Zero Possible’ award for the PV DRILLING I rig. This prestigious award is an acknowledgment of PV Drilling’s continuous efforts in executing the project with the highest efficiency, accompanied by absolute safety, which is one of the top criteria in the oil and gas drilling industry.


Petronas presented PV Drilling with the ‘Mission: Zero Possible’ award for the achievements of the PV DRILLING I rig

Since 2017, four jack-up rigs owned by PV Drilling (including PV DRILLING I, PV DRILLING II, PV DRILLING III, and PV DRILLING VI) have been operating in the Malaysian market, contributing to the success of numerous major projects. As of October 2025, with a total 4,725,630 man-hours, having drilled 118 wells and reaching a total depth of 298,570 meters, and including 69 rig moves, PV Drilling is currently the second-most active drilling contractor in Malaysia, only behind the local domestic drilling contractor.

The continuous achievement of records and receipt of prestigious titles/awards such as the ‘Rig of the Year', the record-holder for the longest well in Malaysia, and now the 'Zero Possible' award, once again affirms PV Drilling’s outstanding service quality and solid brand reputation in the Malaysian market.
