On 22th September 2020, The best Investor Relations (IR) awards 2020 ceremony was successfully held in Ho Chi Minh city. PetroVietnam Drilling and Well Services Corporation is proud to have been named The best IR awards 2020 voted by financial institutions in Mid-cap, the category is evaluated by 28 financial institutions through a professional marking system.
28 financial institutions include: (1) Funds: VinaCapital, AFC Vietnam Fund, MB Capital và VCBF; (2) Securities: ACBS, Agriseco, Bao Viet Securities, CSI, Dong A Securities, Everest, Funan, HSC, IVS, KB Vietnam, KIS Vietnam, Maybank Kim Eng, Mirae Asset, Phu Hung Securities, Pinetree, Viet Dragon Securities, SSI, TPS, Thien Viet Securities, Tan Viet Securities, Vietcapital Securities, Vietinbank Securities, VNDirect, Yuanta Vietnam.
729 listed companies are selected for two categories which are The financial institution’s votes for top three best IR and The investors' votes for the top three best IR in 3 different classifications including Large-cap, Mid-cap and Small and Micro-cap. After the first round, there are 45 listed companies fully complying with regulations on information disclosure went on the final shortlist. The criteria include:
- Transparent information disclosure in a timely and appropriate manner;
- Reliable financial information and documents;
- High level of corporation governance practices.
This prestigious award demonstrates relentless efforts in many years in improving transparency and reliability of IR activities based on the guidance of Board of Management. PV Drilling realizes that the role of IR of listed company is more important when investors and related parties demand more transparency on information disclosure. In addition, PV Drilling acknowledges the responsibility of the company listed on HOSE and put many efforts to protect the shareholder’s interest by complying the laws, follow disclosure information regulations and equal treatment.
In order to improve the efficiency and professionalism of IR activities and adapt the demand of stakeholders such as shareholders, investors (individuals and institutions), PV Drilling continues to comply with regulations on information disclosure and improve investor relations activities through completing comprehensive process and actively connecting with all related parties such as securities, funds, newspapers and media in order to transparently disclose the company information.
For the first nine months of 2020, the consolidated revenue is forecasted to be VND4.300 Billion, increasing by 45% YoY and the consolidated net profit is estimated to be VND100 Billion, higher than the amount of VND48 Billion in the same period last year. These results are very encouraging in the scenarios of the double crises of the coronavirus pandemic and the oil price crash.
