PV Drilling signed a contract on provision of jack-up rig to PVEP - Hong Long

On June 3rd 2010 at Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel, PV Drilling officially signed the contract on provision of jack-up rig PV Drilling II to PVEP - Hong Long at Block 09-2/09, Kinh Ngu Trang Well. This is one of the long – term exploration and production campaigns of PVEP - Hong Long. This drilling campaign will be the foundation for the long – term cooperation opportunities between PV Drilling and PVEP -  Hong Long in future. 

 
            
The contract will be carried out in middle of August 2010. Similar to other PV Drilling’s jack-up rigs, PV DRILLING II was towed to Vietnam right after its inauguration in September 2009 in Singapore and was put into services for domestic and foreign customers. Up to now, PV DRILLING II always fulfills the criteria of safe operation, achieved a remarkable operating efficiency over 99%, and greatly contributed to the successes of all drilling campaigns of PV Drilling’ clients.
